 Required Skills

This is a customer-facing role and requires advanced English Proficiency and excellent

troubleshooting skills.

Excellent hands-on 5-8 years’ experience on the following technologies:

  • Routing protocols – EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
  • LAN Switching – VLAN, VTP, STP, Ether Channel, CoS, VPC, VSS, Stacking
  • WAN – MPLS,  IP Sec VPN, DMVPN, VRF
  • TCP/IP protocol suite, Quality of Service, ACL, 
  • Application protocols - HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP,  SNMP, SSL etc.
  • Network Security -  TACACS+, RADIUS, Cisco ISE
  • Cisco Catalyst 6500, 9k
  • Cisco Nexus 9K/7K/5K/2K Series of switches
  • Cisco Routers 4k and 8k
  • Cisco IOS Software, NXOS
  • Cisco Meraki Product MX, MS, MR, MV, SM
  • Wireless LAN technologies – Cisco WLC and Prime.
  • Application Load balancers –  Citrix NetScaler
  • Network Management – Solar Winds
  • Configure and implement local and wide area network, internet platforms and
  • the network management and associated diagnostic tools to support new and
  • existing technology architectures.
  • Excellent ITIL Knowledge – Incident, Change, Configuration, Problem Management
  • Excellent Problem analysis and resolution skills (RCA).
  • Experienced in risk /issue management, priority setting and follow up.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be able to clearly
  • communicate with the customer and be able to present solutions to customers

 Required Qualification

  • CCNA or any other related certification is mandatory for this position
  • CCNP, CompTIA Security+, CNWA is plus
  • 5-8 years’ experience in network Industry

Responsibilities:

  • Performance and capacity planning: audit, monitor, analyze and
  • reconfigure network environments for performance improvements and future scalability.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network problems.
  • Develop disaster recovery and fault tolerance plans.
  • Network SME will lead complex projects involving the planning, design, installation, technical
  • support and network audit of data information technology solutions To Make decisions
  • independently on Information Systems problems and methods.
  • The knowledge and expertise required at this level of work usually results from progressive work
  • experience.
  • Projects are carried out independently and new ideas are proposed and implemented for cost
  • reduction and application or infrastructure enhancements.
  • Participate in 3 – 5-year roadmap planning and forecasting.
  • Mentor junior engineers on networking technologies, standards, methodologies, and
  • procedures.
  • Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of network standards and
  • documentation.
  • Participate in developing long-term strategic, capacity and performance planning objectives and
  • goals.
  • Coordinate efforts to isolate and resolve network and security related issues.
  • Participate in IT and corporate-lead initiatives.
  • Research new technology and evaluate its viability.
  • Lead the evaluation, testing, selection and implementation of:
  • Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)
  • Internet Connectivity
  • Network Management
  • Diagnostic tool (Wireshark)
